Today, you’ll uncover a part of the world known as the ‘lost zone of the Amazon’. It’s a hidden jungle that you’ll access from the old-world town of Takua Pa. From here, you’ll take a boat ride along the Klong Sung Nae River, floating through the shadows of massive banyan trees. After you’ve spent some time exploring the mesmerising forest, it’s back to Takua Pa for lunch, and a visit to a factory that produces traditional Thai pastries called mooncakes. There’ll be some sightseeing in the town, too, with highlights including Thai and Chinese temples, and houses that were built 200 years ago.
