Explore Ephesus, site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then we will drive to Ephesus. Ephesus was one of the most important ports in the classical world and also it is mentioned in the book of Revelations as the site of one of the seven churches. Have lunch in a local Turkish restaurant then drive to what is believed to have been the last home of Our Lady. It was discovered by Lazarist priests after a German nun described the house and the mountain as the last residence of the Blessed Virgin Mary after she had some visions about the place. Today, it is a Muslim and Catholic shrine, and cared by the Lazarists. Who say Mass there every day. The last stop the is Saint John Museum in Selcuk on Ayasuluk Mountain. Here you will find the remains of the Basilica of Saint John.
