Departure from the hotel towards the indigenous communities of the Tzotzil ethnic group; first visiting of Chamula, the Guide explain them the fusion of contemporary traditions and Mayan ancestral characteristics that identifies this location.
Later, we'll hike trails walk where the locals, which will lead us towards the neighboring community of Zinacantan, where we visit the Church and the House of a family cooperative, where we will be greeted with a regional drink and observe how women work the back-strap loom of pre-Columbian times. After admiring the samples of what they produce, will be able to go to your kitchen, where if we are lucky, we invite to try hand-made tortillas.
