In the middle of nowhere, in between almond trees and haunting natural beauty, there is the Molino de el Hortelano, in Casabermeja.
Meet the owner, who has been working the field for ages, and has taken over the family business over decades. You will have the unique opportunity to walk through the fields and smell the blossom of the almond trees. He will show you with his own hands, the manual way to collect the olives, process them until the liquid gold, how romans used to call the olive oil, is produced. After the visit, a typical Andalusian breakfast will be served with bread toasted in the oven, juices and of course: olive oil.
