Day 1 canyons and train: Early transfer to the airport for our flight to Temoris, box breakfast on board. 1 ½ hour approx. Overflying the Town of Creel, and 3 of the main Canyons. Landing in the Town of Temoris and transfer to the nearby train station of Temoris. This is one of the most scenic parts of the trip; here you can see 3 levels of the tracks as it winds back and forth to gain altitude. And it is here that the railroad Chihuahua al Pacifico was inaugurated by President Lopes Mateos in November 1961.

We will board the train at this station about 11:30am and continue through the most rugged part of the train trip. This is where you will see most of the 86 tunnels and 37 bridges. About 1:30pm we will arrive the area known as Divisadero/Posadas, and transfer to the hotel on the rim. Free afternoon for hikes along the rim of the canyon for pictures and to enjoy the different views of the canyon. Overnight hotel Divisadero or Mirador. Dinner is included at the hotel tonight...

Day 2.

After breakfast included at the hotel we will do a tour of Parque Aventura, where we will see the different look out points, like Piedra volada, go across hanging bridged, take the Tram halve way down the canyon, included. And free time for shopping some of the local Tarahumara crafts. Or do the Zip lines, not included. Lunch included at the hotel and transfer to the train station to board the train at about 1:30pm for your trip to Chihuahua. Arriving at about 10pm. We will transfer you to your hotel. Breakfast and dinner included.

Note: Optional: this day we can substitute the transfer to Chihuahua by train to a transfer by private van, to include a tour of the Mennonite camps on the way to Chihuahua and the arrival would be about 7pm.
