Easter Parade in Granada

Granada’s Holy Week captivates people’s senses all around the world. Sisterhoods of silence, crafts of capes and of neighborhoods display, an exposure of the overall feeling of Granada city. Our tour will be oriented towards the main areas of the city during this celebration:

Albaicín and Granada’s Historic Center (Holy Thursday)
Sacromonte (Good Friday)
Alhambra (Holy Saturday)

The Zaidín, the Albaicín or the Realejo, next to the Historical center of the city, witness the images and courts of large beauty, with the sole purpose of getting the message of the crucifixed, dead and resurrect Jesus Christ to the visitor. This message arrives in the floats of the Mysteries, such as the Supper, the Olives’ Tree, the Christ of Forgiveness, the Penance, or Christ’s floats like the Holy Protector of the City, or the Christ of Silence; all this framed on a unique landscape of colors and a contrast with the Sierra Nevada, the greenery of Granada, and the blue skies of the last days of the Holy Week. Granada, the Holy Week and the cults, the people and traditions are waiting!

Meeting/pick-up point: To be confirmed the day beforehand.
Duration: 13th April: 4hours. 14th April: 5 hours. 15th April: 6 hours.
Start/opening time:13th April: 8:15am. 14th April: 1:45pm. 15th April: 5:30pm. Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start time.
End/closing time: 13th April: 12:15am. 14th April: 6:45pm. 15th April: 11:30pm.
