Akaroa harbour is around 90 minutes’ drive from Christchurch. It's the only place on the planet where you can swim with the world's smallest and rarest dolphins, the Hector's or New Zealand Dolphins. Black Cat Cruises operate a jet-powered catamaran for ultimate safety for you and the dolphins.
Meeting/ Pick up point: Main Wharf, Akaroa.
Duration: 3 hrs.
Start or opening time: 01 October to 30 April - 8:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 01 May to 30 September - 11:30pm, 01 December to 28 February - extra cruises at 6:00am and 3:30pm.
