See the most avant-garde cabaret in Paris at the stunning “Désirs” show, which opened to audiences on 21 September 2009 and was directed by the prestigious French choreographer Philippe Decouflé. The show’s artistic direction is signed by renowned photographer Ali Mahdavi.
Marvel at the classically trained dancers as they perfectly integrate the sensuous choreography of their performances and spectacular bodies. Each dancer is bathed in richly colored and textured lighting designs from lighting effects so overwhelming that it is hard to determine where skin ends and the color reflections begin!
The result is a unique show that engages the mind as much as the eye. Zula Zazou, Jade Or, Psykko Tico, and Nooka Karamel are the Crazy Horse dancers with the memorable names, each representing the French elite of beauty and seduction. Situated in Paris’ 8th district, the Champs-Elysées restaurant, La Fermette Marbeuf, offers an extraordinary Art Nouveau decor, featuring a 1900-style glass canopy roof listed as an historic monument. Rural and aerial in spirit, it illustrates the theme of Spring, in particular in the form of murals and a Botticelli reproduction.
