Crowds flock to Guadalest for its sweeping valley views, and you’ll get a good look at them as the coach weaves through the mountains to this rocky peak. When you get there, you’ll have a few hours to explore the ancient town. The cliff-top castle has a dungeon you can visit and there’s a selection of quirky museums, too. In the afternoon, the coach will head to the Motorbike Museum. It’s home to hundreds of classic bikes and has a restaurant, where the chef cooks up meaty dishes on the fire pit out-front. The next stop is the Algar Waterfalls. The ascents here are steep so it’s a good idea to wear walking shoes. You can cool off with a dip in the turquoise waters of one of the natural pools. The last visit is to DinoPark, where you’ll find life-sized models of all types of dinosaurs and a 3D cinema that’s great for kids.
