Tapas are a true Spanish tradition: a selection of different dishes, served in smaller portions to be shared and enjoyed with family and friends. In this hands-on tapas cooking class, you will prepare (and eat!) a three-course meal crafted from local, seasonal ingredients.
You’ll start with a visit to a colourful local market, where you can chat with the grocers as you shop for fresh seasonal ingredients from all over Andalusia.
Then you’ll head to a nearby lively patio and art gallery where local artisans have been working for centuries. Your cooking class will take place here — the perfect Spanish setting for inspiring your culinary juices! Because food in Spain is a social activity, you’ll be chatting with your instructor about Spain and listening to Spanish music as you prepare all different sorts of appetisers and drinks.
After your tapas are ready, we’ll sit down to enjoy our homemade meal with a glass of Spanish wine. All our menus can be adapted to accommodate any food preferences or allergies, and we include a variety of traditional as well as innovative tapas.
