Jump back in time on this tour to Europe’s oldest city – Cadiz. You’ll spend most of the day on foot, giving you a chance to get a close-up of the old quarter’s sights. We’ll kick off at the Plaza San Antonio, passing the Plaza de España and Plaza Mina on our way to the San Felipe Neri Oratory, a beautiful Baroque church. From here, we’ll wander down to Plaza Flores, a charming square lined with candy-coloured buildings. You’ll have some free time here to relax and pull up a chair at a pavement café before we head over to the spectacular cathedral. Like a lot of Cadiz’s historical buildings, it dates back to the 18th century, when the city was at the height of its power. The façade is impressive, with Baroque detailing and lofty bell towers. The whole thing’s crowned by a huge yellow-tiled dome, too. Our last stop of the day will be the old town hall, an imposing building that mixes Gothic and Neoclassical architecture.
