Listen to one of the most haunting and sensual guitar concertos ever with a performance of maestro Joaquin Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, the composition that to many a foreign ear epitomises Spain. If you wish, you can savour the music while enjoying a traditional Spanish feast of cured Iberian ham, cheese, rolls to the accompaniment of wine or cava as well as dessert.
Join us on the evening of Thursday, August 15, to see local guitarist Bernat Padrosa and Russian pianist Olga Kharitonina perform this timeless piece of classical music that has transcended all cultures.
