Just steps from the Alamo, one of the most pivotal battles in American history is coming to life…“A one-of-a-kind experience bringing visitors on an emotional journey through the 13 fateful days of battle that gave birth to The Great State of Texas.” Battle for Texas: The Experience is a fully immersive and interactive adventure showcasing the world’s most historically significant Alamo artifacts and connecting them through heart-racing multimedia reenactments to the past they left behind. Guests will journey back in time as they experience the daily lives of early Texas settlers, the tensions leading up to the Texas Revolution, and the climactic battle in which
the Alamo defenders sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom.
For the first time, artifacts including Santa Anna’s Uniform, Bowie Knives, and items owned by Davy Crockett will be displayed together in a thematic environment. Presented from both Texan and Mexican perspectives, visitors will experience what it was like to have been at The Alamo in a setting that captures the spectacle, heroism, and ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives for a cause they believed in.
