Discover the incredible underwater life of Egypt on this snorkel tour from Sharm el-Sheikh. You’ll be greeted by your local guide at your hotel reception at 9am, and hop in your private transfer to Ras Mohamed National Park, which is around a 30-minute drive. Once we reach the park, we’ll descend down to our beach camp, which is where the real fun begins… We’ll enjoy some refreshments here, during which your guide will give you a briefing on the area and a few hints on what to look out for as you snorkel.
Once you’ve got the basic know-how down, we’ll get out into the water and start your guided snorkel session. You’re free to spend as much time in the water as you like, but with thousands of species here we’re pretty sure you’ll be entertained for a while! The benefit of having a snorkel guide is that you won’t miss a thing down here, so be sure to make the most of it. If you feel like taking a break at any time, our beach hut is there for you to use whenever you wish. We’ll stop here to have a bite to eat – you might need it! Lunch will be freshly prepared and served up at beach hut camp, where you can relax for a while and give your body an energy boost.
After lunch, we’ll continue this Egypt tour to another part of the National Park. We’ll take a visit to the mangroves and an observation point, where your local guide will give you more information on Ras Mohamed and the different ecosystems you’ll find here. Want more snorkel time? Never fear! We’ll stop off at a second snorkel site in the afternoon, giving you even more opportunity to get in touch with the marine life in Ras Mohamed. We’ll also find more beaches at this second site, giving you plenty of opportunity to soak up your surroundings and take breaks from the water. Once the day starts to draw to a close, we’ll jump back in our vehicle and head back to Sharm el-Sheikh, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel around 6pm.
