Make sure to bring your appetite for this adults-only day out – you certainly won’t go hungry. Heading inland to mingle with the locals on this full-day trip, you’ll discover the true meaning of the Cypriot saying ‘kopiaste’ or ‘come join us’. The first stop is Palaichori, where you can refuel with some coffee while breathing in the mountain air. Next, it’s on to Agros to sample the homemade Cypriot sweets and learn about rosewater production at the rose and sweet factory. You’ll also get the chance to tuck into some local smoked meats. Lunch is another homemade affair, served in the village of Pelendri. And the afternoon is spent tasting Cypriot wine as you take in the view over the valley. Make sure to bring your camera along for the ride as mountains, valleys, olive groves and almond trees are just some of the scenic highlights.
