Take the walking tour of the former Jewish Distirct of Krakow - Once heart of the Jewish community in Krakow, today a vibrant and funky artistic district of the city. Than we continue across Vistula river to the former Ghetto area in Podgórze. The walk finishes by the Schindler's Factory. A walk with a guide will allow you to discover the two faces of Kazimierz: on the one hand, a district vibrant with life, with a plethora of cafes and restaurants; on the other hand, the witness of the tragic events of the past.
The visited places are remnants of the Jewish history and witnesses to the Holocaust. Visitors are also taken to the other bank of the river where the remnants of the ghetto and the Emalia Factory, known from Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List, have been preserved. Entrance fees and transportation are excluded. Guided tour in English is included. Participants should take an umbrella or a raincoat on rainy or snowy days. Meeting/pick-up point: In case client would like to have a free hotel pick up (only for Cracow city center), it’s necessary to inform about the hotel name at the moment of doing the reservation and it´s compulsory to call the supplier at least 24 hours in advance in order to reconfirm the exactly pick up time at the hotel.
