At the junction of avinguda Diagonal with carrer Rosselló, right in the heart of Barcelona’s "Quadrat d'Or" (Golden Square), a majestic, medieval-inspired, but modernist urban palace, unique in the city is erected: Casa Terradas, popularly known as Casa de les Punxes from 1905.
Despite its central location, few people have been inside the house. Now, Casa de les Punxes opens its doors for the first time in history with an interesting tour, combining the house’s stunning design with the history of its architect, Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and the legend of Sant Jordi, which can clearly be noticed in the symbolism of the house. All this in an all-enveloping visit using the latest technology.
Imagine walking around the enigmatic rooftop surrounded by its imposing towers.
Imagine enjoying the panoramic views over the city of Barcelona and venturing up the towers and into the world of one of the major figures of art nouveau, Josep Puig i Cadafalch.
