You’ll get to know the real Cyprus during this evening trip to Kelokedara, where you’ll meet the people – plus the donkeys – who live here. Set in countryside 45 minutes from Paphos, the remote village is home to less than 300 people. The average age is 55 years, so the abandoned primary school has been turned in to a cultural centre, which you’ll visit this evening. As you’re led through the cobbled streets, you’ll get to taste some local delicacies including the firewater, Zivania. Next, you’ll get a riding demo before taking the donkey safari up to the Sindi Monastery. This monument hasn’t seen any monks since the 16th century. These days it’s more famous for its UNESCO World Heritage status.
