Natural Park Marine Reserve (Colònia de Sant Pere, Artà) Visiting Mallorca is always an unforgettable experience, but to visit a nature park with a marine reserve on this magnificent island is the best experience anyone could find. Not only because of the idyllic surroundings, but also because it is close to one of the most beautiful coastal villages of the Balearic Islands, la Colònia de Sant Pere (Artà), a fishing village where you find both thousand year old culture and magnificent landscapes.
This is an untouched and extremely well preserved spot which you only can get to with Alcudia Sea Explorer, from the Alcudia bay on one of the fastest and safest boats there is. Our boat trips are ideal for all of the family and let you have a both relaxed and first-hand unforgettable experience. Alcudia Sea Explorer can take you to Cap Ferrutx, a place in the nature park of Llevant where impressive cliffs loom over the sea, making a stop in North Majorca’s largest cave, where you can enter with a boat to see its majestic interior. We continue along the coast, through the nature park with its marvelous sights, to the next stop: Es Caló, a cove which is difficult to access but which is one of the best spots for snorkeling on Majorca. Swimming in this paradise is a real treat that you can experience first-hand with Alcudia Sea Explorer. Or, if you simply would like to go for a relaxed walk, Es Caló is an out-of-the-way place where you can enjoy untouched nature without comparison.
Set course for Colònia Sant Pere, making stops in Betlem, Ca los Can, and in beautiful coves with crystalline water. Finally we arrive at Colònia Sant Pere, a fishermen´s village where you will feel the atmosphere of the age-old Majorcan fishing tradition. The village is highly appreciated by the Majorcan people, and you can use the trip to try some of the local cuisine, visit the remarkable sights of this beautiful settlement, get to know its people, or just sit on a terrace of one of its restaurants with the impressive views towards the Alcudia bay.
If you choose the menu option, you will enjoy fried fish, squid Andalusian, trampo, padron peppers... red or white wine.
