The wild Akamas peninsula can be explored only by 4x4. This is a haven for wildlife with over 160 species of birds, animals and plants.

First stop is the Avakas Canyon - probably the most impressive natural wonder of Cyprus. This deep gorge is famous for its limestone rock faces which form a natural tunnel.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to Lara Bay, home of the green sea turtles, protecting endangered sea turtles over the last three decades by Cyprus Animal Protection Association. Learn the secrets of these sensitive and charming sea creatures while the protective system visits the beach. Bear in mind that the sea turtles nest from June to August and breed until October.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the journey, and help yourself to a traditional lunch.

We continue on Latchi to the Baths of Aphrodite. Legend says that the water has magical powers. Get to know this particular type rustic island and become at one with nature.
