Enjoy a guided tour of Bordeaux, by bike. Follow the guide through the historical centre-town of Bordeaux. You will ride along the quays, enjoying beautiful sightseeing of the city and its must have. A bottle of wine is at stake for the best observant!

Experience Bordeaux like a real local! Your guide will take you in the heart of the historical town, which is classified on the UNESCO list. Riding a bike is the ideal way to explore the city, which is mostly closed to traffic and opened to pedestrians and bicycles. During the afternoon, you will see more than walking for one full day!

You will pass the bridge to the other side of the Garonne River and will enjoy stunning views of the 18th century quays. You will discover the must-see monuments of the city. You will be able to win a bottle of wine if you get the rights answers to our little quiz. Open your eyes! Then you will stop at our apartment for a well-deserved snack with delicacies of the region.

The program.

2pm: meet and great at the Bordovino apartment in the very centre of Bordeaux. Let’s get prepared and En route on your bike!

2:15pm: Let’s go to the Chartrons quays, where the wine barrels were stocked and ready to be shipped on the docks. Then you will cross the brand new bridge to get on the other side of the Garonne river. There prepare get your camera ready! You will be in front of an incredible view on the Place de la Bourse, on the Pont de Pierre (Pierre Bridge) and on the majestic facades of the 18th century building beautifully renovated.

3pm: Cross the Garonne river again by the Pont de Pierre and get into the historical Bordeaux. Grosse cloche, place du Palais, porte Cailhau, place du Parlement, Grand Théâtre, Place Pey Berland… These monuments are all 5 stars in your city guide! Amble through the charming small streets and through the bigger avenues which makes the reputation of Bordeaux as being one of the most attractive city in France. During your trip your guide invites you to participate to a quiz to test your sense of observation. Open your eyes: you can win a bottle of wine!

4:15pm: Gourmet break! Stop at our 18th century apartment where you will recuperate with a nice platter of local delicacies: fresh bread, chocolate, dried sausage, cheese, pastries and more.

4:45pm: back on your bike for a few minutes more just to reach our final destination. Now you know Bordeaux just as if you had lived here for 10 years!
