JOYÀ, Cirque du Soleil’s first resident show in Mexico, combines culinary and performing arts in an intimate theater setting that will engage the audience’s five senses. This new Resident Cirque du Soleil show draws on Mexico’s history and heritage while telling the story of an alchemist and his granddaughter embarking on a transformative quest to uncover the secrets of life. Through their 70 minute journey they will discover a hidden gem in the mangrove, passing along the poetry of love and life to future generations. ?The name JOYÀ is rooted in the Spanish “joya” meaning jewel. JOYÀ will be housed in the 600-seat Vidanta Theater, custom-built for Cirque du Soleil, which draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the surrounding Riviera Maya jungle.

Visitors will be able to choose from one of five experiences offered in this boutique theater: The Dinner + Show + Champagne experiences will include a premium 3-course dinner that will feature international gastronomy and champagne from “Mercier” as well as a access to a special pre-show full of surprises. VIP seats will experience the magic of JOYA first hand. The Champagne Package option features central seating offering frontal stage views with ½ bottle of champagne included per person. Show only option offers lateral views with access to cash bar service. The high stool option offers a panoramic view of the show, from high stools with back support and arm rests that also have access to cash bar service. All guests will have access to the spectacular JOYA venue, an area surrounded by lush jungle and water mirrors, which also houses a Restaurant and Bar/Lounge as well as the gift shop.

End/closing time:At 8:10pm, 10:10pm and 11:25pm (according to the day of the show).

Opening days/period: Tuesday to Saturday.
Min. Age: Guests must be 18 years or older in order to enjoy packages with alcohol included. ID will be required at entrance.

Others: Due to theater operation, we are NOT able to accommodate any special dietary requests. We strongly suggest clients arrive at least one hour prior to show time in order to fully enjoy our venue. Theater doors open 15 minutes prior to show start time. Please note that no Pictures are permitted during the show or within the theater. Hours may vary depending on the operation of the service, please confirm.
