The Cambrils International Music Festival returns to light up the Costa Dorada summer for the 39th year running. A galaxy of stars will descend on the picturesque resort to perform in stunning settings. A wide variety of genres is catered for, from classical to jazz and from flamenco to pop. One of the highlights will be the gala performance by renowned Basque soprano Ainhoa Arteta, who will sing in a fundraiser for cancer research. Join us and be a part of one of the social events of the summer.
The festival runs from July 20 August 4. Miss Arteta will perform on the opening night thus raising the curtain the in the best possible way. She takes to the stage at 10pm but beforehand there’s a VIP dinner at 8pm, the proceeds of which will go to a local cancer charity. The following night it’s the turn of Barcelona quartet Manel – one the all-time most popular pop groups singing in Catalan. On July 27, Antonia Font – a prolific Catalan pop group – promise a glittering night of entertainment. On July 28, legendary Spanish pop group Hombres G, whose hits in the Eighties were the soundtrack to that decade for many Spaniards. On August 1, expect a night of passion with leading flamenco singer Miguel Poveda.
