2 Days / 1 Night Tour to Mont Saint Michel and Loire Valley Castle - with transfer

A terrific two-day tour that takes you on a trip to the magnificent Le Mont Saint-Michel and gives you the chance to get acquainted with the history that is practically bouncing off every wall from all around.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Day 1 - Le Mont Saint Michel
Start off in Paris and make your way along the Normandy motorway getting your fill of the lush countryside, before you know it you’ll reach Le Mont Saint-Michel in the late morning. It’s likely that you’ll have built up quite an appetite by this point so you’ll be taken to a restaurant (Relais Saint Michel or a similar one) which looks across the bay and towards Le Mont Saint-Michel. You’ll be able to dine in peace and quiet and try out some of the regional delicacies.

Once you are full up, you’ll crack on up to the top of the mount to get a closer look at the Abbey. Inside the Abbey, you’ll stroll around the gothic and roman reminiscent setting being told what’s what by the guide. Meander through the medieval houses and must-see museums. You then get some free time to roam around the village at your own pace. After that, you leave and move on to the hotel in Angers. You will first have a bite to eat and then as the day draws to an end; you’ll hit the hay.

Day 2 - The Loire Valley Castles
Make the most of the on-hand buffet breakfast before you hop on the bus towards the historical castles that are teeming with many a tale. Chambord is the destination of choice but we’ll go through Cunault and Saumur beforehand (although this route could change). Have an insightful guided tour around the Château de Langeais. You are then given the chance to potter around the lovely town of Amboise where you are encouraged to get some lunch.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided tour in the Château de Chenonceau. Last but not least, a guided tour in the Château de Chambor - which is well known worldwide. It’s gained recognition because of the way it marvellously meshes together French Renaissance architecture and a more traditional French medieval style; on top of that it is surrounded by perfectly kept grounds. We round things off and go back to Paris in the evening.

Portuguese is available on Sundays.
Italian is available on Sundays between July and September.
Possible Amendments: The menu is just an example and so it is likely to change.
In October, we head along to Cheverny instead of Chambord.
